The Morganville Music Video (#1) ...
I'm very pleased to announce that the new Morganville music video, featuring music by Elliot Scott, is now up and running (all over the place).







Elliot's wonderful music can be found at his Myspace page and also at his website, and I am very grateful to him for allowing me the use of this great song (which really is perfectly suited to Morganville, I think).

Okay, now I'm back to work on UNDONE! See ya!

I have been throwing fun to the beta readers, but there's a line, bebe -- I'll be sending out UNDONE for review and comment to three readers in the next couple of weeks. :)

All the time, actually. I've always been that way. I was on a panel with several older writers a few years back, who started out before television was so ingrained in our culture, and they said there has been a marked change in the way people write -- and not for the better -- because we are visually influenced.

I don't agree with the "not for the better" part of that, but I'm biased!

Wow. Good video editing there. I like the song selection too. Where did you get all the cool video clips?

This video reinforces that I really need to catch up on the Morganville books at some point.

Thanks! :) The video clips (and the stills) are all from www.istockphoto.com -- they have a pretty awesome selection of stuff, at affordable prices, but you have to spend a LOT of time searching. The search functions are a bit unreliable, but I think that's because the people uploading the clips don't put in enough keywords.

You know, after searching for videos about MV, I'm honestly quite shocked the series doesn't have more of a fan base on YouTube. If I could find the time to sit down and figure out the mysterious world of fanvideos, I would be making a bunch about that series.
