The one about the book.
Okay, so, despite the incredible allure of sleeping and my very fine media room with its huge collection of DVDs, I *have* managed to make progress.

The project: UNDONE, the first novel of the new OUTCAST SEASON series (out in late 2008/early 2009, don't have a release date yet).

The deadline: March 1.

The progress:

I know, I know, it's almost the middle of the month. But I'm hard at work, things are going well, and I feel fairly good about it.

So does Captain Jack.

Apart from that, all's fairly well here. Morganville folks: the February Freebie is almost ready to launch, I'll be posting about that in the next few days!

Arrrrrrr.

Wow, that's some IMPRESSIVE progress, too.

I can't wait to see how many novels you crank out per year now that you're full-time writing and no day job.

(Can't wait to read them all, too.)

Heh, well, it'll be at least six, 'cause that's how many deadlines are showing in the calendar right now! Eeeek.

:hugs:

How are you doing?

That's soooo wonderful! It's great to see an amazing writer like you with so many novels in so many different series out.

Not only do you provide us with great novels to read, you also give us lots of hope, you know?

::HUGS::

I'm fighting real life at the moment. With corporate jobs come great stress, but I know you know ALL about that. It's tough sometimes.

But, I'm also working on finishing my first urban fantasy novel and I'm very excited about that. Might even query it after I get it all polished up. :)

Oh yes, I do know about the stress. Stay cool, babe, and don't let the writing become another source of stress -- it's an adventure! (Hence, Captain Jack's on my graphic, heh.)

I'm very excited about your first urban fantasy novel, too! CONGRATULATIONS!

It is. Private joke, actually, as I *have* this flag and plan to be flying it from the flagpole on the turret soon. :)

Hey Rachel, recently bought all the Weather Warden series and finished them and just finished book one of Morganville and loved it despite it not being a genre I am usually interested in. 6 deadlines in one year? My GODS woman how do you have time to do anything else? thats practically barbara Cartland levels of productivity ;)

Not that I am complaining, I practically inhale books often getting through two or three a week so it means I get a regular dose...
